The Department of Operational Art and Moral and Psychological Support is a structural unit of the Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was established by Order of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs — Commander–in-Chief of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 27 dated June 24, 2022. In its activities, it carries out educational, methodological, research work of postgraduate education in the disciplines assigned to the department, educational work among students, as well as training of scientific and pedagogical personnel and improving their qualifications.
The main purpose of the educational process at the department is to train undergraduates with fundamental knowledge and deep theoretical and practical training, solid professional knowledge, skills, skills in the disciplines taught, in accordance with the state general education standard of the specialty.
The main task of the department is to create conditions for the development of postgraduate educational programs aimed at in-depth professional development of the individual based on the achievements of science and practice, national and universal values, the formation of professional competencies and personal development, leadership qualities.
The staff of the department is staffed by qualified specialists with extensive professional service and teaching experience, including a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), graduate students and undergraduates. These are such officers as Colonel Baibusinov Murat Naimanovich, lieutenant colonels Tattimbetov Arhat Zhenisovich, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Abilmazhinov Almaz Aitzhanovich, Kenjebayeva Aislu Maratovna.
The department implements its goal by performing the following functions:
— organization and conduct of all types of training sessions in the disciplines of the department according to the postgraduate education program provided for in the curriculum and schedule of the educational process, including with the use of distance learning technologies;
— ensuring a high theoretical and methodological level of teaching disciplines through the use of traditional and the introduction of new learning technologies;
— preparation of teaching and methodological materials necessary for the educational process: work programs of training courses, educational and methodological complexes of disciplines, methodological manuals, instructions and recommendations, materials for conducting current control;
— preparation of textbooks, teaching aids, teaching aids, teaching complexes, courses of lectures and other manuals and visual aids for teaching students;
— conducting research, experimental research work of undergraduates;
— carrying out the promotion of scientific knowledge by organizing and holding cathedral scientific conferences and seminars, the participation of the teaching staff of the department in scientific seminars, conferences, symposiums, speeches to collectives in troops, organizations and institutions.
