There is no victory without the rear!

 

The Department of Logistics is one of the main graduating educational and scientific divisions of the National Guard Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, carrying out educational, methodological and scientific activities, as well as measures to develop and improve the educational material and technical base. The department solves the problems of organizing and conducting educational and methodological work at a high scientific level in several related academic disciplines, conducting educational work with students and cadets, performing scientific research, as well as training scientific, pedagogical and scientific personnel, professional retraining and advanced training of officers in department profile.

The main missions of the department are:

training and retraining qualified logistics specialists with higher professional education, scientific, pedagogical and scientific personnel of the highest qualification for the National Guard, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

professional retraining and advanced training of officers, military personnel under the contract of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as law enforcement officers;

organizing and conducting fundamental and (or) applied scientific research aimed at solving the problems of strengthening public order and security of the country and improving the professional education of military personnel;

meeting the needs of students in intellectual, cultural and moral development through higher and postgraduate professional education, advanced training in the relevant field of military professional activity;

organizing and carrying out work on the military professional orientation of young people and preparing them for admission to higher military educational institutions.

The Department of Logistics has been leading its history since 1997, the year the higher educational institution was founded, then from 2006 to 2022, during the period of optimization and subsequent organizational and staff changes, the Department of Logistics was reorganized into a cycle of rear services of the Department of Technical and Logistic Support. The structure of this department included: the cycle of the material part and operation of military vehicles and the cycle of the rear.

In the history of the higher educational institution, the first head of the Department of Logistics was Colonel Dzhangaziyev Bulat Mukhtarovich, at different times the heads of the department were Colonel Seytkaliev Bergengali Urazgalievich and Colonel Zaitsev Gennady Anatolyevich.

Colonel Esimzhan Sovetovich Satigulov, Doctor of Philosophy, who headed the Department of Technical and Logistic Support in 2018-2020, began work on the allocation of the Department of Logistics to a separate division of the higher educational institution. Colonel Nabiev Tair Ramazanovich, Master of Military Science and Security, who currently heads this department of the Academy, completed the allocation of the Department of Logistics to an independent unit.

At different times, the department provided the educational process with a highly qualified teaching staff, these are Colonels Mukashev Erkin Shaymuratovich, Aner Konstantin Yurievich, Bekbenbetov Kairat Tulegenovich, Lieutenant Colonels Uvaliev S.S., Amangaliev T.G. — Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Major Useinov Zh.S., Captains Plotnikova N.A., Abduvalieva N.Sh. and Sergeant Isagulova A.M.

Currently, the department teaches and educates cadets — the head of the Logistics Cycle, Colonel Goncharov Artem Gennadievich, senior teachers of the department, Lieutenant Colonels Kozhakhmetov Daniyar Tirizhanovich and Kakishev Zhenis Temirkhanovich, teachers of the Logistics Cycle, Lieutenant Colonel Zhakin Askhat Ersainovich, Colonel of the Reserve Elzhanov Duisenbek Shakhmanovich and Major of the Reserve Nuzhin Andrey Viktorovich.

An important role in the life of the department is played by the auxiliary staff of the department — this is the head of the laboratory, Captain Asmatulaev Zulyar Shahimovich, as well as a specialist technician, reserve Sergeant Alnazirova Saule Ismagzamovna.       

During its existence, the department has graduated: more than 400 specialists from the rear services, more than 200 military personnel and law enforcement officers have been retrained. Graduates of the department adequately represent themselves in high leadership positions not only in the National Guard, but also in the Armed Forces, the Border Guard Service, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. So at present, the leadership of the Logistics of the National Guard, the Armed Forces and the Border Service of the NSC of the Republic of Kazakhstan consists of graduates of the department — these are Colonels Korkembaev A.K., Kasenov R.E., Mansurov A.N., Kazhybaev K.A., Yesembekov A.M., Ismagulov S.Zh., Kanatov R.A. Omurzakov N.R.

Future logistics specialists are currently being trained. Cadets of other specialties receive knowledge in the following disciplines: Fundamentals of Economic Theory, Ecology and Sustainable Development, Fundamentals of Life Safety, Fundamentals of Logistics and Company Management.

The teaching staff constantly improves their qualifications and undergoes internships in various positions in units and formations of the National Guard. Since the founding of the higher educational institution, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department has published more than 100 educational and teaching aids, published more than 1000 articles at seminars, conferences and scientific publications, including foreign ones.

The department is constantly working to create and improve the educational material and technical base. The department has specialized, equipped classrooms and a laboratory. So the department has specialized classes for food, clothing, housing and operational support and providing troops with fuel, a class for military and company facilities and a cooking laboratory for fifteen jobs. The cadets are trained in the issues of keeping records and reporting on the rear services in a computer class equipped for fifteen students.

Today, it can be said without hesitation that the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department during its existence has successfully fulfilled, is still fulfilling and will continue to fulfill the tasks set for the training of highly qualified logistic support specialists.
